KOZ

 (Keystone Opportunity Zone) - Sites free from state & local taxes

Alternative Energy Credit

15% of net cost of alternative energy production- limit of 1 million/taxpayer and 5 million for program year 2009.  Closed for 2009.  Next round expected to opern in early 2010.

JCTC

 (Job Creation Tax Credit) - $1,000/new job created, not available in a KOZ

GRANTS

PEDA

(Pennsylvania Energy Development Authority) - Grant amounts up to $1 million

Opportunity Grant

Minimum 1,000/job created and up based on competitive nature of project

LOANS

PIDA

(Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority Loan) - 3.75%-4.75%, 35K/job created, maximum of $2 million

MELF

(Machinery & Equipment Loan Fund) - 4.25%, 25K/job created, 50% of equipment, maximum of $5 million.  Closed for 2009.  Please check back for new offering.

EDUCATION

WEDNET- Guaranteed Free Training

$450/employee for entry level training or $800/employee for information technology

CJT

(Customized Job Training) - 75% of costs for job specific customized training.
